I am not sure why or when it happened, but I have an obsession with Christmas trees. No, not the kind that you put ornaments on. The kind that you put on a shelf, mantle or other flat surface as a decoration. It seems that I am not the only one because most retailers have something to offer in the tree décor space.

Last year, at the beginning of this obsession, I even made some trees using fuzzy yarn in a very simple DIY that you should check out HERE if you want a simple craft that is basically a no-fail. It would be an easy project to do with pre-teen and older kids as well.
Below are some of my favorite trees that I have seen online this year. There are so many designs that compliment different styles from modern to costal to traditional. I added a few to my collection this year from Target – the metal gold one below is McGee and Co. and I made a trip to Target just for that and then ordered the smaller one online because they didn’t have it in store but then restocked online. If you love it too, BUY NOW because they will be gone again any second.

Another great source for trees is Marshalls or Homegoods who always seem to have a random, well-priced collection. Marshalls even has an online shop, but I enjoy the thrill of the hunt at the store as there is always something unexpected.
I took down my Halloween decorations but left a few pumpkins and fall décor pieces out to give us a bit of breathing room before putting Christmas up, but it is a daily struggle not to get Christmas stuff out. I find that when I put things out too early (most holidays) I often get tired of them by the time the actual holiday comes so I am trying to avoid that this year for Christmas. However, now is the time to start ordering Christmas because of long lead times and much of the great stuff will sell out!
Hope you find something below that you love – maybe even you will catch my tree obsession! Wait, be right back, going to order a few more of these….ahhhhhhhhhhh
