After a long hiatus, I am getting back on the proverbial blogging horse. I got Covid on New Years Eve which ended up being a 6-month journey of migraines and fatigue every day in the late afternoon. After many doctor visits, CAT Scans and a MRI, four different courses of antibiotics, and a change in my allergy medicine regimen, there was no answer. As a last resort, I scheduled sinus surgery which was not expected to have a great outcome, but, was at least an action I could take. Fortunately, the day after I scheduled the surgery, I woke up feeling better, and I believe I had some form of long Covid…RIP.
Ultimately, Halloween drew me back in because it is my favorite holiday to decorate for. I have transitioned from cute when the kids were little, to creepy when they were a bit older, to a bit more dialed back and classic now. Here is my PREVIOUS HALLOWEEN POST that walks through that a bit as well as links my LAST HALLOWEEN POST.

This year, I am adding a couple fun Target finds including the large crow below to joint the other two in my commection and the hanging felt bats. Probably my favorite Halloween décor that really packs a punch and has the benefit of being easy to store are THESE
FELT BATS from Grandinroad which really make a statement above the fireplace
and would also be fantastic going up a stairway.
So there, you have it, short but sweet or is it spooky. Anyboo, here are great Halloween decorations from Michael’s and Target that won’t break the bank. Happy hunting!
